SoilTech General Manager
Kevin completed a degree in business at the Muresk Campus of Curtin University before returning to the family farm at Cadoux. During that time, he was instrumental in the development of the Duli Farmers Group with the primary objective to researching and implementing sustainable farming systems. After leaving the farm Kevin has gained extensive experience in both the corporate and private business sector. Kevin’s appointment to Precision SoilTech as the General Manager, brings with it both technical and practical farming experience, along with business and systems management. His goal is to continue to improve Precision SoilTech, to ensure that it is the “Best in the West” for Collection, Analysis and Mapping of WA agricultural soils.
Amy is originally from a mixed farming enterprise near Williams. In 2015 she completed a bachelor degree in Agribusiness at Curtin University. Amy spent two years as the Laboratory Technician for SoilTech while studying, and in 2016 moved into the role of Technical Officer. Amy manages the pH laboratory and the soil sampling bookings. Amy is able to assist you with any questions or issues you have while completing your booking this season.
Prior to joining the SoilTech team in July 2017, Stephen spent 6 years managing the Precision Ag Technology Services division of the John Deere Dealership group located in the Central Wheatbelt. This experience provides great insight into how information gathered from soil sampling shapes farming decisions and practices throughout the varied seasons. His familiarity with Agronomic software platforms, remote support and Variable Rate Application (VRA) can assist growers with actioning any recommendations gathered from sampling results. Stephen also bring the unique skillset associated with his trade in Exploration Drilling (Cert III – Drilling Operations) to assist with design, operation, maintenance and best practices of SoilTech’s industry leading Soil Sampling Rigs. His 5 years operating mineral exploration drill rigs, managing drills teams and ensuring quality and integrity of samples will give growers and advisors confidence in the service that the Precision SoilTech provides.

Steve has been involved in agricultural research, development and extension for over 30 years, and has a history of applied and practical achievement. As General Manager of Aglime and the Building Better Soils Group, Steve ensures SoilTech remains a valuable service for growers and agronomists in WA.
